SAFETY

Our vessel is inspected annually by the Department of Transport and issued with a Passenger Carrying Certificate which is displayed on board.

Emergency exits are clearly marked around the vessel.

We are in constant radio contact with the Port Authority, the River Police and other vessels in the vicinity. Also, please note we are within 250 metres of the riverbank at all times.

Please listen carefully to the safety announcement made by the Captain at the commencement of the cruise and any emergency instructions from the Crew.

The above conforms with the new River Legislation introduced by the Department of Transport.

The following safety equipment is carried on board:
1. Life Rafts 21, sufficient to carry 294 persons
2. Life Belts 10 in total

- 2 on upper deck aft
- 2 on foredeck by wheelhouse
3. Life Jackets 1 for each person on board
4. Fire Extinguishers 10 in total

- 1 by wheelhouse
- 2 on upper deck
- 4 on lower deck
- 2 in galley
- 1 by galley door
5. Fire Hose 2 in total
6. Gas Sniffer 1 in galley
7. Fire Blanket 1 in galley
