Claudia Underwood

Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager

I work within the Events Management Team, helping to manage enquiries through the whole booking process and ensuring the client is always completely happy with their event on board.

I first started working for TLC in 2010, before moving on to similar roles elsewhere in the events industry. However, after a couple of years away, I was drawn back to the Thames and returned to TLC in 2016. I now also assist with the Marketing Team, organising internal promotional events such as our Wedding Showcase and corporate networking events.

I really enjoy helping to plan and produce the vast array of events we arrange across the TLC fleet. We have a lot of repeat clients, which is a testament to their time with us - it's fantastic to work up such great relationships with clients.

Please note that Claudia is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to the team in early 2019.

Louisa Stone

Senior Event Sales Coordinator

I've worked in the events industry for over six years and joined TLC in 2013. In that time, I've organised over 650 events to date - everything from wedding and birthday celebrations to corporate events, product launches and much more!

My day-to-day revolves around the journey of an event, from responding to the initial enquiry, conducting viewings and menu tastings, and collating final details ready for the day itself.

Building relationships with a client is extremely important to me, so that I am able to get an understanding of their vision and requirements for their event. We arrange an incredible variety of events at TLC, matching each individual client with the most suitable vessel and arrangements based on many factors. Seeing their happiness as their vision becomes a reality is always very rewarding.

Please note that Louisa is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to the team in autumn 2018.

Plamena Stancheva

Senior Sales & Events Coordinator

As Sales and Events Coordinator, I work to effectively plan clients' special events and celebrations. My background includes a Hospitality Management with Tourism degree, as well as four years' experience within the food and beverage industry and two further years as a restaurant manager for a boutique hotel group.

This experience in hospitality gives me a fantastic understanding of all clients' needs in both the build-up and event day itself, ensuring your time on the Thames is every bit as exceptional as you wish it to be.

Rachel Wilkins

Event Sales Coordinator

I joined the TLC team from a country house venue managed by a London catering company, where I focused on coordinating corporate events, activity days and weddings - one of which included a rather unique medieval banquet! Prior to this I spent three years organising art fairs and exhibitions for an artist and gallery owner.

I take a keen interest in the catering side of event planning, having spent time as an award-winning chef in Brighton. It was also in this role I began to develop my wine skills, learning and gaining qualifications through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. It's really exciting seeing clients' concepts become a reality and I look forward to helping you make your event on the Thames a really special one.

Ruby Stow

Sales & Events Coordinator

I'm the newest member of TLC's Events Management Team, having joined from an outstanding boutique hotel based in London's West End where I worked in hospitality management, specialising in food and drink. It was here I fell in love with planning and running events.

My aim is to deliver personalised events entirely built around the client and I couldn't think of a better way to do this than being on the Thames, among London's beautiful surroundings. The boats provide endless opportunities for bespoke events and I can't wait to help with all enquiries. I look forward to hearing from you!
