Here at TLC our team thrive on a good challenge and love working with our clients to realise the vision for their event.

Here are three of our favourites from 2015

May 2015

Venue: Dixie Queen

Guests: 80

Type: Corporate Staff Party

The Brief: To create a ‘games floor’ including an 8-lane giant Scalextric, 2 casino tables and 2 Wii screens & consoles for staff to enjoy throughout the event.

The Dixie Queen, our iconic New Orleans style paddle steamer and the largest passenger carrying vessel on inland waterways in the UK, proved the perfect venue with her spacious upper deck providing ample space for the gamers! A selection from the ever popular World Food Market was served to hungry guests on the lower deck.

A fun event for some very lucky employees!

June 2015

Venue: Edwardian

Guests: 70

Type: Promotional

The Brief: To captivate morning commuters in any eye catching way and send them off to work with a spring in their step!

Lipton Ice Tea sponsored a breakfast cruise along the River Thames during peak commuting hours on a sunny morning in June. Commuters were able to cruise through the heart of London and enjoy the sights & sounds of early morning from the upper deck of the Edwardian, all whilst sipping on Lipton Ice Tea with their breakfast canapes; far more civilised than battling through the congested streets of London!

Lots of happy faces on this morning commute!

September 2015

Venue: Elizabethan

Guests: 112

Type: Wedding Transfer

The Brief: The best man asked if he could perform a mock-safety announcement with help from the Skipper on board. Dave the Skipper was more than happy to be of assistance!

Whilst Dave read out the scripted mock-safety announcement, the best man played along and performed a comical demonstration which included the best man donning a lifejacket as a pair of trousers!

We should add, TLC takes the safety of our guests extremely seriously so of course, a real safety demonstration was held immediately afterwards.

When you want something a bit different from the mainstream we've got you covered!
