Our response to coronavirus (COVID-19)
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to develop across the country, we understand and appreciate this is creating a lot of uncertainty throughout the events industry.
The situation is changing by the day, however following the latest government advice to implement social distancing we recognise that many events are unlikely to take place for the foreseeable period. Should clients decide to postpone their event we will work with them to find a workable solution so that it can take place at a later date and with the least disruption as possible.
We would like to take this opportunity to send our very best wishes to our clients and their families. When the time comes we will look forward to seeing you all on board the TLC fleet, where you will be given the warmest of welcomes. Ahead of this we would like to remind you about a few of the key measures we have in place to minimise any risks to your health and safety.
Highest standards of hygiene
Thames Luxury Charters has a five-star hygiene rating across our entire fleet and is wholly dedicated to the very safest hygienic practices. If you have previously visited our vessels or attended an event on board you will be aware of how they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. All clients can rest assured that our already long embedded approach to hygiene remains a core focus for our housekeeping team.
Neither our fleet or operational base are open to the general public. As a private event space we can and do strictly control who comes aboard on a day to day basis, therefore providing us with the ability to vet those that do as may be appropriate. This greatly assists us in keeping our venues as safe from any contamination as it is possible for them to be.
Each and every event we host are private charters. This provides organisers with the ability to speak directly to their guests and implement any necessary precautionary measures ahead of their event.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your upcoming event, please contact our Events Management Team who would be delighted to help you. We have also released information about how to undertake remote virtual viewings with the team, which can be viewed here.
